Hello! I decided to replaced the throttle body on my 2013 Elantra over the weekend. There are four M6-10 x 55mm bolts holding the throttle body to the intake manifold. Three of them came out fairly easily. One did not. Using my impact wrench ripped the head off the fourth bolt... bad idea. The good though: The bolt shaft was still present, but seized to the old throttle body. Solution: Cut around the bolt shaft and remove the remaining bolt with vice grips. See the carnage below: The new problem: Finding factory bolts at an affordable price. My local Kia dealership (Kia and Hyundai share many parts...) wanted $7.45 + tax for one bolt! I found a Hyundai dealership in Florida that sold a bolt for $1.97! Needless to say, I have four bolts on their way north. Even with shipping I'm saving!
